The Casa Rug Co. — Materials
Every material we use is selected for a reason. Understanding the properties of each fibre is the first step in commissioning a rug that will last — and improve — with time.

The Gold Standard
Sourced from the high-country farms of New Zealand, our wool is among the finest available for rug-making. The cool climate and open pasture produce a fibre with exceptional staple length, natural crimp, and a lanolin content that gives it inherent soil resistance and a luminous, living quality that synthetic fibres cannot replicate.

Studio Note
Wool rugs deepen and soften with age. The natural crimp means they recover well from furniture indentation — a quality no synthetic can match.
